Trying to Make a Little Money to Help Out....

Ladies,

Hi I am wondering what kind of job I can do at my home or with my 18 month old? I just want to add to my hubbies income and feel that I can help out with the money. I mean I know I help out because I'm the house cleaner and stuff, but I want to put some money away for the family or pay some of my bills. So, what do you say? Any thoughts?

I am not a sales person. I have a BS degree in liberal Arts (English) and minor in communication. I have an 18 month old that I can take around places, but would like to work from home. I know this is a common topic, but all I've seen in response are these buy products and then sale them (UGGH!) I'm not putting any money into anything, and I am not emailing anyone or calling them to tell them about a product. don't like web site's that don't really tell you what kind of job they have for you just a bunch of people who are happy, but nothing about the actual job itself. What's up with that? I just want a normal job!!! Any advice for a mom in West Linn OR?

So What Happened?

so...

I found out there is a little girl down the street that is my daughter's exact age that is in need of child care. It's just part time three days a week for a little while. I don't know if it will end up happening, but at least we agreed to get our girls together. Also, I decided to go back to college to get my masters. I'm really excited about it.

I wanted to mention that I hope the moms out there are not fooled by the scams from home business jobs. I was really shocked by the advertizing that goes on in mamasource. I am not fooled by International, non-discriptive websites, and training on how to have your own business kind of jobs. I don't encourage anyone to accept these kind of offers.

Good luck to those that want some honest money!
Cheers,
G.

I don't know how to find such jobs but I've heard about working from home completing writing projects. I can't remember where I've heard of this. I think I would call specialized employment agencies and read trade magazines.

There are some great ways to earn an income. My husband and I mentor other moms and dad that want to earn an income from home. We do not expect you to buy and sell products. I would love to hear from you

hey there,

you could always find a great little playmate for your son, and make a few extra bucks at the same time doing childcare. you can easily post an ad in the childcare section of craigslist. this is how we found two wonderful little playmates for my son. they come to our house twice a week, and pretty much entertain each other most of the time. plus it's a great way to help socialize your kiddo. My son was walking fairly well - out of nowhere around 10 months, after just a couple weeks of playing with older toddlers. anyhow..... good luck!

Hi there G.,

I would love to chat with you about an at home opportunity that has been wonderful for me and my family. Not every at home business is for everybody so we should talk about it first. Check out my web site....www.enhanceyourwayoflife.com. You can request more information through there or just send me a note here on mamasource. Whatever you decide to do though, please research!!! There are so many scams out there. Try your best to make very well informed decisions.

Good luck!
~C.
