I just went into real estate, which I love doing. I get out of the house often enough to not go stir crazy and make great money doing it.

However, before when I was looking for other types of stay at home work I went to http://www.volition.com/opinions.html and signed up for a bunch of secret shopper sites. (All free of course which this site only promotes!) After being registered with about 30 sites, I got about 15 offers per day to do secret shopping. There's even a secret shoppers association where you can graduate to certain levels, then inform the companies you are doing the secret shopping for, and you get even more offers. The above site only promotes legit companies. It takes awhile to register for all the sites, but it's worth it. I did actually go out and do 1 as well. $15.00 for 10 minutes of "acting" isn't bad at all!

apartment management has worked wonders for me. if you want more info on how i got into it let me know seriously i work like 20-30 hours a month and its awesome. plus its not a scam you dont have to send anyone money and as long as you answer your phone and can rent apartments you are golden you can take your kids with you to show units and it works well when your partner has strange hours (my hubby is a musician so it works for us even when he has to go on tour plus we can afford for him to be out of work if need be ). anyway good luck!

E.- I think that all of the other job posts are great, but you really need to have a network and be a sales person. My best advice to you is follow your heart, look at the things that you love to do for yourself, what you are good at, and be creative. I am a SAHM and own my own business. It is called Funny Faces and I do faces painting and balloon tying for birthday parties and other special events. Yes, sometimes I am a clown too. I really love my job because I get to do what I love (painting and being with kids) and do what I am good at. The hours are pretty flexible, I get to book jobs on the weekends and evenings. I also get to plan my vacations and work around my children's schedules. My sister-in-law who owns Two by Two Petting Zoo and is a SAHM, talked me into starting this business 3+ years ago. I don't know if being a resident apartment manager would work for you, but it worked very well for me as a single mom. I did this for 6 years, from the time my daughter was 13, until she graduated HS. It was a 5-minute walk between where I lived and worked. It was great having my daughter stop by my office on her way home to do her homework, I could post a "back in 15 minutes" sign and start dinner, whatever.
