My 6 month old is doing things too fast well maybe I just think she is because I don't want her to grow up Idk but here is the thing

Within the last 2 weeks she has started to sit up by herself, started crawling everywhere, got two teeth overnight, Started pulling up on things just today and almost fell out of her crib, All of this is within the last 2 weeks. What is going on?????? STOP GROWING !!!!!!!!

With my son it seemed like every month there was something new. Not her its all together. What is she going to start talking and walking by 7 months hmmmmm don't like it.

Anyone have any crazy things like that.??

What can I do next?

Early development is really cool! My daughter said her first words and took her first steps at 7 months. Don't worry, she'll still be a baby and need you, but she may not experience as much frustration as some babies I've known that seemed to so desperately WANT to communicate and ambulate before their bodies would allow it.

Sounds just like my daughter...she was talking at 7 months...make sure you put her crib mattress to the lowest level!

My oldest rolled over at three weeks, stood at 5 months, said her first word (Cow) at 6 months, walked at 8 months, and figured out how to climb onto kitchen counters by 18 months. I signed her up for gymnastics as soon as I could. It was a challenge for sure. On the other hand, she started reading at two and a half, understood fractions before she went to kindergarten, and figured out child-proof medicine bottles at 5. At 6 it took her about 30 minutes to learn how to set up a chess board and the movements of all the pieces. She's 8 now and we routinely have conversations on everything including philosophy, morality, astronomy, theology and sociology. There is no way to slow the process down so don't even try. But don't be afraid because some great things could also be heading your way! Challenge yourself to find ways to stimulate her and keep her curious. Basically, just buckle in and enjoy the ride.

My first daughter climbed out of her bed at 7 mos., walked at 9 mos., figured out how to ride a trycycle at 13 mos. and was hanging by her knees from the top bar of the swing set by 2 yrs of age. She was always precocious. But that doesn't guarantee success in life. Sometimes when things come easy to a child, they never learn to work hard at anything. She was always so gifted, nothing meant much for very long. She's grown now, a gourmet cook, gifted designer/decorator, hairdresser, but can't stick to anything long enough to hold down a job. Thank goodness she has a wonderful husband! Good luck!!

my son was sitting by 5.5 mos, crawling 6.5 mos, running by 8 mos, had about had about 6 teeth by 10 mos, climbing on top of counters by 12 mos, but he didn't talk for a while. he swang in a swing when he was 2. rode a bike (with training wheels) when he was almost 2. now he's 4 (almost 5) and he has been reading for about 6-7 months.

my older son had 2 teeth at 6 months, cut 2 more the following week.

took a 2 week break, cut 2 more. & then 2 more the next week.

8 teeth by 7 1/2 months! .....or another way to put it: 8 teeth in 6 weeks.

I thought the world was going to end! Not only was he cranky beyond belief, but he had diarrhea thru most of the 6 weeks & required prescription diaper cream....which only one pharmacy made! (a special mix at the dr's request). My son also went from crawling to furniture- cruising to climbing during these 6 weeks.....changing all rules of engagement! Oh, & he began finger foods too.....

woo-hoo! Thanks for bringing back memories!! He'll be 24 later this year....

My first and 4th were like this. Right now my 5 month old sits on her own and crawls a bit before falling on her face. Just yesterday she pulled herself up on the ottoman. Freaky.

I actually cried the other day, because she is my last and is moving too fast. I feel like I am going to miss it. All I can say, is enjoy each moment, my oldest is now going into Jr. High and the time has just flown by.
