Does anyone have any recommendations for hairclips for my 14 month old that will not slip out? (Or that will not come out easily if pulled?)

Goodie makes a plastic barettte that comes in a package of a whole bunch for cheap. They have been around forever and have a little animal or something on them. You might try those -- Target has them. I also got at Target a package of little bows on a strip. The bows are made of ribbon which also cover s the clip. They hold pretty tight. Unfortunately, my 22-month old is determined to pull anything out of her hair, so I don't bother trying anymore.

At Cartoon Cuts (the kids' haircut chain, at several malls around N.Va.), they sell a brand called "No-Slippy Clippy" or perhaps it's "No-Slip Clip" instead. I have not used this product myself but it is a hair clip lined with a velvety material that they claim makes it non-slip on the kid's hair. Not cheap, though! I think they're about $5 and up for just a single clip. Good luck!

noslippyhairclippy.com That's what I used and they were great. Also we use those very small rubber bands, they look like the kind the dentist uses. You can get those at CVS.

I have a friend who sells hair bows, specifically ones that will stay in baby's hair! Check out www.girlygirlbowtique.com.

I do not know of a particular brand, as I have a little boy. BUT, if you're crafty, I read somewhere that if you glue a little bit of that non-skid, non-slip stuff you line your cabinets with on their clips that they don't slide out. Hope this helps!
