Share your strategies on how you eradicate fats after giving birth. Am conscious w/ my figure now I gave birth for almost six months now but still the fats that is stored during the duration of my pregnancy is still visible, I envy other mamis who gave birth and after 3 months they got their old figure.

the best way to lose weight after giving birth is to breast feed! it burns sooo many calories, and it also helps your uterus shrink back into place way quicker. exercise and diet will also help but the breast feeding alone will just about do the trick. i was 175 befire i got pregnant, the morning sickness took me down to 150 but by the time i gave birth i was 190. i dropped althe way down to 160lbs by the time my son was 2 months. now after you stop breast feeeding that is when the diet and exercise really come into play because i didn't do either and i blew right back up. so try breast feeding not only is it the best option for your baby but it helps you too! and don't worry about your breast sagging later on, because even if they hang a little bit at least it is because you did right for your baby or yourself. and i don't know to many men that will care anyway!!! lol good luck!

Definitely diet and exercise. There's no other way to do it without putting forth the work. (which sucks...it'd be nice to have it easy...but then no one would have fat right) :)
Anyhow---cardio is important. You don't have to go to a gym either. Walking, jumping jacks, going up and down the stairs, etc. Start slow and then build up and before you know it you'll be in shape again.
Just to let you know...a lot of those moms who have their shape back after 3 months worked their butts off. Not everyone is blessed with awesome genes.
I have a 3month old and I've been working hard at it...still not back to my old figure but I'm close. I just recently bought Jillian Michaels 30 day shred....I'm on day 4 and she's kicking my butt. The awesome thing...it's a 30 min workout instead of me spending an hour or two that I don't have trying to get my cardio up and tone at the same time.
Good luck

You need to do what is called "interval training."
Even professional athletes train that way.
It is the best... for increasing fitness and losing weight.

All it means is, working out in intervals. Doing any activity.
You could walk for 3 minutes, then for the next 3 minutes totally SPRINT... then the next 3 minutes walk again... then the next 3 minutes SPRINT at full force again... etc.
It even could be doing jumping-jacks. Slow jumping-jacks, then super fast and rigorous jumping jacks. Right in your living room.

It only takes like 15 minutes.
And... it REALLY REALLY will get you winded, sweaty and pooped out. It IS very rigorous.... not easy at all. If you do it right.

If you research online, "interval training" you will see LOTS of information.

all the best,
Susan

I lost 150lbs over the first couple years (100 the first year) after giving birth.

- Eat a lot, and do it frequently.
- Exercise moderately
- Walk at least a couple miles a day (walking is fairly key, burns fat almost exclusively, whereas running does muscles and stamina, walking sheds lbs and inches)
