Tips on how to flavor milk so my 8 years old daughter will drink it better

I don't know how healthy this is. But my friend used to drink milk with a tiny drop of vanilla and a little sugar, and it tasted like a milkshake. It was delicous.
Try adding vanilla and maple syrup to it, I did that with my kids and still do. I also make them vanilla milk shakes by semi freezing the milk and then adding the maple syrup and vanilla to it in the blender. Another thing you can try is adding vanilla and fresh or frozen strawberries or blueberries or better yet even canned fruits, blend it really well. I have made my own version of DQ Blizzard using milk, strawberries, pinapple, bananas, and coconut. Chocolate is another wonderful trick. Hope these all are of some help.

extracts! No sugar like with chocolate and strawberry syrups. Honey or no sugar added hot chocolate powder. Or go for a "little" of the sugary stuff:-) Other thing to try is the syrups they sell at coffee shops (100s of flavors to choose from) and added to warm milk can be really tastey.
I feel for her though, I am not and never have been a milk drinker. It really grosses me out unless it's just a little glass with something sweet like peanut butter and jelly or cookies:-) I love other dairy products, cheeses and yogurt, you name it! Maybe try to encourage more of these and focus less on drinking milk.
we use nesquik. the package says it has less sugar than other brands--who knows! we also add about half the reccommended amount or less. start with strawberry, most toddlers don't like chocolate right off the bat.
Obviously chocolate or strawberry mixes (I use Ovaltine for chocolate and my kids don't think it tastes any differnt than normal choc milk, or you can add some of the flavored yogurt drinks to sweeten it up. If she likes smoothies - you can always make them in a blender. Good Luck.
Another not so healthy alternative is root beer or orange soda. My children say it tastes like root beer float or creamsicle. There is also Ovaltine. My wee three, ages 12, 10, and 8, don't like milk much, so it is a struggle to get them to drink it. We also do calcium supplements every morning, plus milk in their cereal. Good luck.
put a little bit of horizon's organic strawberry milk mixed with her whole milk. it doesn't have any colorings so it looks the same as regular milk. slowly reduce the amount of strawberry milk as time goes on. worked for bothof my children.
yo baby drinkable yogurt. They have peach flavored - & you can add it to her milk...much more healthy that adding any type of sugar substitute :)
There's a lot of things you can add to flavor milk. Just add the amount to taste. You can add or do the following:
1. Cherry juice from marshino cherries.
2. Hershey's chocolate syrup in a can.
3. Try various flavored extracts.
4. Ovaltine or Quick mix.
5. Make a smoothy.
6. Make your own milk shake.
7. Add ice-cream and orange juice, then blend it in a blender...It tastes like a creamcycle.
If you don't want to use sugar (understandable) you can use a natural sweetener called stevia. Also, you could try mixing it with rice milk or doing rice milk (that's what I drink since I can't have milk).
I put a little vanilla extract and maple syrup in milk.
