The Less Popular Names on This Site !!!

I think everyone should thank me, and often. I think I should be sent real flowers, not just virtual ones. I think a shrine should be built to me.

But OMG, I send EVERYONE flowers! I LOVE it that ANY of us takes the time, knowledge, passion, etc to help!

I LOVE everyBODY. So THANK YOU B., and every single other Mom who post questions and/or responses!!!

I love reading everyone's answers. So much diversity makes for really interesting viewpoints and opinions.

I think there are just some ladies who post on here so frequently, that it's easy to remember them... or those few that are just so darned knowledeable or witty that you couldn't forget them if you wanted to. But there are lots of posts by the less frequent posters that are every bit as valuable as all the others...

Thanked as in getting "flowers" or a PM? I've never received a Thank You via PM but I have never expected to. I just feel good after leaving advice.

Do most get Thank yous over PM??? If you do, NOW I feel left out!!! LOL!!!

I don't look at the posters names either...I am actually surprised at how many of you do. It is actually kind of annoying when the 'post your favorite poster' post comes up. I really don't want this board to be personal and doing that makes it so.

I agree with Lee, I have very bad memory with names but I seem to remember some because a) I have see them over and over b) they are funny or c) I just don't like them, but I want to thank to all that have take the time to answer my questions or send me flowers, including the popular girls.
Damn this thing (popularity) doesn't never end!

Well, B., this is a better question than I thought it would be! (The title of this post could be read euphemistically, and this thread could have looked a lot different!)

I've never seen those other 'favorite posters' posts, and I'm notoriously terrible with names. But I have different 'faves' for different aspects of posts. Some ladies (Page W., are you listening?) are nearly always funny. Humor is so important, especially as some questions are a doozy.

Some (ah, Peg) have sage advice coming out their ears in spades. There are times that I post when I think "Oh, Peg will be disappointed in me now..." She's always good at finding a kind voice and some high ground. WWPD.

Denise P. cracks me up. B. is always pretty kind and thoughtful (even to suggest a post like this has "thoughtfulness" all over it).

Susan (SH) from Honolulu-- I like her perspective. Maybe its because I was born and raised there.

Mamy of 2 is recently blipping on my radar, and I appreciate her no-nonsense approach to parenting.

Ephie, I love that she is just as annoyed about some of the particularities about this site as I am.

I just checked my "Flowers Sent" on another screen and Dawn B keeps coming up. She is a voice of reason.

I really appreciate the wide variety and huge spectrum of opinions...even if I don't agree with them, as someone who works with kids and their parents, it's informative to see what the popular thinking is, and it keeps me on my toes!

I agree with Lee, I guess. I don't post for popularity, I post when I feel like I can add something useful or offer a different perspective on something. I don't answer every post and I try not to get caught up in who's who. I do love getting flowers and seeing who sent them. I do have certain posters I tend to agree with on a regular basis, but I do love reading the differring opinions just as much!

This site has honestly become more addicting for me than fb. LOL

I love getting the flowers. I've also received PM from people who liked what I had to say...and others who did not. Either case, we all have much knowledge to share and it's a nice place to get suggestions and opinions from a diverse audience.

I admit I always look for my name on those lists....and never see it...I tell myself it is because I always change my name every few months :) Makes me feel better about myself. Ha!

I agree with TB. This site is more addicting than FB for me too! I have always loved helping people and I feel good when I receive a flower from them for helping. I also love that I have a place to go and get help. Sometimes when people know you too well they tend to tell you what they think you want to hear. It is nice to get honest answers! I never heard of the popular list. Guess I've never been on it! LOL!

sending my face book friend a crimson and white semi cause a vase wouldnt be big enough and another semi to my nameless friend with piggies on it and my other friend i couldnt find on facebook yeah you know who you are. she gets a semi too.

since i am sending out vases to the unnamed less popular i asked SANTA to send all of my friends a red ruby vase. i asked him to put bugs on it.with a robin eating the bugs. santa said sh bp oil is on the phone. i said i am going to tell my mum that will peg you for bieng mean to me bcause cause it makes me feel so hazel i mean blue. he said he would tell the twin elfs tracy and stacy. they said they had to make them for linda or laurie or whatever her name is. but since linda is the funny one he got a wild hair to put leslie on it instead of linda. :) so I got ready for BeD suz imean cuz i wanted all of my friends who never get mentioned to have their own vase. I went back in my diary at least 30 pages to see if i had anyone I didnt want to name to send a vase to. a man and jen read me a bed time story. while i held my teddy bear krista and my blankie de ana i mean the annie. and i told santa to send one to any friend i forgot to mention that is less popular so they would feel good too. I hope santa did good. :)

I am grateful anytime someone takes the time to answer one of my questions (ok, maybe 99% of the time...not so grateful when the answer is mean or makes me feel like a loser!). A few times people have sent me personal messages thanking me for my answer and it really meant a lot to me.

So: anyone who has thoughtfully answered one of my questions or sent me a personal message: THANK YOU. Too many people to name, obviously. But the answers I have received have been insightful, helpful and have often helped me out during rough times. You ladies are wonderful. Have a great weekend, all!

I just want to thank Page W. I would send her flowers if I knew her address. And I'm going to start building a shrine to her in my back yard, as soon as I clear away all the dog poop.

There's a post about the favorite posters??? I've never seen it. Overall, I think the moms on this site are pretty helpful. I don't really care for the really judgmental answers but what can you do...

I agree with T.B. I am addicted to this site and even made a post about it a little while back. I love sitting and waiting to see what question will pop up next. :) Yep as you can see I have a real interesting day every day so much that I sit and wait.

I don't pay a lot of attention to posters, but it's fun to go through the list of flowers I sent and see who I send them to most often. :) And I would send whole bouquets if I could! Balloons and chocolates too, some days!!

Its funny, because really I never even pay attention to who posts what. I just read the response.

It's an dirty job, but someone's gotta be the disciplinarian! Drug dealers, hit men, meter maids, disciplinarians, we don't get enough respect!

Ok so I do know ... it's because I have a foot thing and HATE feet and would be completely repulsed if you kissed my feet. I don't even get pedicures that's how much I hate having my feet touched.
