Speaking of Ettiquette - "FLOWERS"

If I ask a question, I send those who answer a flower - for taking the time.
If someone else asks a question, I send a flower to anyone with a really good answer, esp if it is similar to what i would say.
If I answer a question, I like to get flowers - it affirms that people liked what I had to say. Makes me feel better about my response.
But, I don't think you HAVE to. If you haven't paid much attention to the flowers before, then don't worry about it. There are no "flower" police! hahah :)

I send flowers when I think an answer is helpful--or funny!

To me? the flower acknowledges that you read what I said, liked it or found it funny...

i send flowers when I agree with the poster, like what they said or think it's funny - like it appears everyone else does...

when I post a question - a ALMOST always send a flower as way to say thanks for your contribution...

I send flowers for the same reasons as Denise P., the answer was funny or helpful, or maybe it gave me a different prespective on something. I also send flowers when something I have been thinking of has been answered ( even If I am not the question poster)

Theresa is a flower slut! Lol!! I send them when I agree with what they said. =)

I send a flower to everyone who responds to a question that I post as a way of saying "thank you" for the taking the time to help me.

I also send flowers to responses on others questions that say what I would have said, say it better than I would have said it, show insight and caring in their response, or teach me something :)

I send a flower to those who I feel posted a good response or something funny. Sometimes I will not answer a post if others have pretty much posted what I would say.

We all have different opinions and sometimes it is nice to read someone's response from another perspective. I do not send flowers to someone who I feel is attacking, rude, or talking down to another mom.

I also send flower to anyone who answers my post.

I think this post gave me allergies with all the flowers floating around :)

Added: I agree with T.F. - I wish we could send thorns sometimes when people get too judgemental.

I send them when i read a response as a thank you for replying but honestly I could do without them...you cant delete them and they just take up space, almost like being unable to delete a voice mail.

I send flowers on other questions when I enjoy or agree with what the poster had to say.

On my own questions, I try to realize that we all have different opinions and come from different walks of life, so I will send a flower to anyone who has given me their time to answer my question. The only time I don't on my own is when I feel they have been abnormally rude or attacking.

I like the flowers to show appreciation for the wisdom other Mommies have sent. :-)
