Honestly the house is the last thing on my mind. I keep up with the laundry because no one wants to see us naked. I do the dishes when I realize there aren't any dishes. I clean when I get that uncomfortable feeling that the health department is peering in my home. Okay, not true.
Still when I work 40+ playing with my kids and helping them with their homework is all that is important to me when I get home. Oh and I do cook every dinner. :)

My prayers and bible reading done through out the day so I have strength for the rest...
2) floors swept and mopped daily
3) hot water in the sink with a little bleach most of the day (dishes washed through out the day)
4) Laundry put through at least once daily
5) Bathroom toilet clean and sinks washed down daily
I guess you could say that the cat box gets first billing because it gets done even before my prayers when I first get up in the am.
Laundry is done (maybe not put away!), dishwasher empty so new ones can go in and get washed nightly, shoes in the shoe rack, backpacks in one place daily, and...I forget :)
I wish we were better about sweeping daily and mail being sorted better. But I'm an optimistic procrastinator, so it will all get done! (someday!)

I'm an empty-nester and the five things are still not house-related. I think I thought I would be more of a house cleaner when the kids were gone. The house is cleaner but it is not in the top 5 things of priority...
1) kiss my husband as he leaves for work
2) prayers
3) bible study
4) work out
5) food for hubby

I am the first to put off housework and laundry. I spend my days taking care of 3 kids while my husband spends countless days away from his family to provide for us. I do of course, make sure he comes home to a clean house and laundry the 1 week a month he is home<3

Hmmm....good Q!
In no particular order, mine would be:
•Schoolwork/school paperwork/school deadlines
•Dishes loaded/unloaded from dishwasher
•Laundry
•Bathroom toilets/sinks/counter tops
•de-cluttering of bills/junkmail/paperwork
(Until our doggie passed away in August, "vacuuming daily" was at the TOP of the list!)
