I recently had surgery. I am back home and have sticky residue from tape and leads, ect. Short of scratching or rubing every place off, is there a better way?

What can I do next?

When I wore my HRT patch, it would sometimes leave residue. If a little alcohol on a cotton ball didn't work, I used mail polish remover ( ours acetate).

Now, I would not put that on an open wound if course.

Goo gone, baby oil or vitamin E oil might help.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery and Merry Christmas!

Try rubbing on some vegetable or other cooking oil onto it with a cotton ball.

I had blood taken 6 days ago and I still have tape on me!

It isn't bothering me, and it should be gone tomorrow. Otherwise, goo gone.

Try rubbing alcohol or a tiny bit of nail polish remover on a cotton ball (use this one SPARINGLY so you don't have a ton of it on your skin.).

My son gets bandage residue and we use rubbing alcohol. If it does not work the first time, try putting a warm wet cloth over it and then use the alcohol again. It always comes off easily with out a ton of rough rubbing.
