Hello-
Look at Ikea. they have tons, very inexpensive- plastic and wood- I opted for wood adn got my son a table and two chairs- very reasonable-- he's a bruiser so wood was better for him- it has already been colored on.
Looking for opinions, comments or reccomendations on table and chairs for children. Is wood better than plastic and should we even consider foldable? I have petite girl and trying to find something short.

We purchased a cute table and chairs from Target that have held up well for the last 2 years w/ a 3 year old and a 1 1/2 year old. It's the perfect height for the little ones, and it looks just like the one at pottery barn but at half the price.
Good Luck!
My daughter was a petite one, too. We purchased a Little Tykes table and chairs (plastic) that had a white top table with blue legs and pink chairs. I would recommend plastic over wood. We had both and the plastic was easy for her to move the chairs and clean up was easier. The wood table varnish seemed to absorb all the juice, snacks, markers, etc. It never seemed clean enough.
Hi
I saw your question and wanted to respond. we have plast table and chair sets and they are nice becase they stack plus easy to wash.If you would be interested we have an extra set that is pretty much brand new that we are selling. Let me know.
Hi M.,
I believe wood is always better than plastic. Plastic products give off an "out gas". It releases the toxins into the air for quiet sometime. I was just a friend's house and they had purchsed and nice looking set for kids at IKEA. Sounds like it was priced resonably as well.
