Surrogacy - Harrisonville,MO

I have a friend who was a surrogate and delivered twins in May for a wonderful couple. She is getting ready to do it again, she has been matched with a new couple and is waiting on getting their cycles to match. She said it was the most rewarding feeling to hand these babies to a couple who desperately wanted babies but couldn't have their own. She got her info on where to start from an adoption attorney because Kansas has some fairly strict laws on this. Good Luck!

I also did some research into becoming a surrogate. It is something I am still considering. You can check out www.northwestsurrogacycenter.com. That was the agency that I found that I liked best for me. I also found, www.thorsen.addr.com/surrogate.htm . The best way to get information is to contact these places and ask them for an application. They usually send a packet of information as well as the application. Have you talked with your friends and family yet? It might be a good idea to let everybody know that this is something that is on your mind. That way you will know which way to lean for the support you will need!

This is a very noble thing to do and I commend you for even considering it. I still hope to be able to do this for somebody someday. I'm always here if you'd like to chat with me about it too. If this is something you pursue, I'd like to hear about your experience, if you would be open to that. ;)

I actually would really like to do that too! I applied for an agency, but was on a medication at the time, so was unable to move forward from there. I did a google search and found a great agency, That is where I would start.

I have twins via surrogacy!!! My sister was our surrogate. I have a wealth of knowledge (insurance, contracts, delivery, pre-birth orders, etc.,) if you ever have questions and want to pick my brain. There is a special place in heaven for surrogates!!!!

My #1 recomendation would be do NOT do this if your husband is not on board. YOUR family comes first and is the #1 priority. Don't put your marriage and family in jeopardy. Belive it our not, our husband's opinions matter.
