It's a hormonal thing I think. He's excited eating... gets him all worked up. It's pretty normal.
My 8 month old son gets SO sweaty when he nurses. I'm talking sweat rolling off of his head and running down my arm. I have to put a towel under his head to try and keep him dry. It isn't hot in my house, the a/c is on with ceiling fans. Any ideas why he gets like this?

My oldest aughter got really sweaty when nursed and she is still very hot natured. Usually she end up taking her pj's off in the middle of the night in her sleep! lol! BUT, It CAN be a sign of heart problems so it's worth asking the dr about. :o)
My second son did the same thing. He's generally a warm/hot kid. Can't put him in 1 piece fleece PJs.
My 9 month old is like this too. I think the body heat we create together is mostly to blame.
My son was like this , also. He's 18 mos now and still sweats easily.
My DD is still a sweaty kid, but as an infant many times my arm under her head (nursing or not) would get wet. It's just a thing with some kids, I think. My DD takes after her father who runs warm.
both children of mine get sweaty during nursing... I do too. Sometimes if both of us are wearing a shirt we get hot more slowly.
