Sleeping Sideways

Mamas & Papas-

My kid sleeps sideways. Instead of sleeping with his head at the head or the foot of the bed, he sleeps across the bed, and sticks his arms and legs through the surround (still in a crib), and pushes it away from the wall to create enough room for himself. Hubs says he takes after me in that he sleeps in the most improbable ways.

Do your kids sleep strangely?

best to you and yours,
F. B.

My grandson has a very large round stuffed duck with which he insists sleeping. This creature is larger than he is in circumference. He puts it under the covers and often it ends up on top of him. He isn't cuddling it. He's on his back and the duck is on top, but partly on the bed too. I don't know what keeps it there because he's always been a restless sleeper.

He shares a bed with me at my house and the duck starts out between us. Then he scoots closer to me so that he can touch me, as he's always slept, and the duck is on top of both of us. LOL I knock him off the bed and the first thing my grandson wants when he wakes up is that duck.

I get tickled at my 18 yr old daughter. She had a huge bed. Queen size and pillow top. She sleeps in the middle and is surrounded with body pillows. I go in there and it's hard to see her. It's like she's in a cocoon and she likes her room to feel like an ice box!

It's going to be interesting to she what she does when she moved into the dorm in the fall and has a twin bed. She actually thought wed move her bed to the dorm, lol. If we did that she wouldn't be able to get in the room! Her bed is huge and sits high .

I have to sleep with it cold and 1 foot out of the covers. Weird habit I suppose!!
