Please help me find a pediatrician! I will be having twin girls in March. I am hoping someone will recommend a great pediatrician in the Peachtree City, Tyrone, Fayetteville area.

Thanks!

I have a 19 month old son, and we use Potts and Smith Pediatrics. We use the office in Hampton, but they also have one in Fayetteville on Jeff Davis Boulevard. I absolutely love them.

Hi, my name is J.. I am a mother of a 6yr. old son, who by the way is my world. His pediatrician is in Fayetteville @ the Fayette Medical Center, his doctor is Dr. Sara Goza, but there is another doctor there, Dr. Muntzel, he has seen her before also. They are really good doctors, he's been going there since he was born. Just a suggestion. Good Luck, with finding the right one. Congratulations on the babies!!!!

Hi T.,
I am a mother of twins as well. Mine are 7 and they are boys.
We would love you to join the Southside mothers of multiples
club. I would have never made it without them in those early days. Try and find a M.D. in your area. Ask your OB gyn first then other people you live near. Go interview a couple of them before you have the babies.Your insurance may only give you a couple of choices. Try and stay local. You don't want to drive farther than 20 minutes with a sick child.I know a great pediatric dentist, Dr. Marcum. Call Kim Weathersby for the club info. ###-###-####.
Good Luck

T. - My family and I used to live in the Stockbridge area. Even when we moved to Fayetteville in 2003 we kept our current pediatrician (in Stockbridge) because we just love her. Depending on where you actually live her office isn't that far from Fayetteville - she is in Stockbridge right off Highway 138 (across from Garden Ridge). I'm sure they are some great peds docs in the Fayette County area but we are just so comfortable and happy with Dr. Youngblood we don't mind the 20 minute drive from our house (we are off Inman Road). If you are interested in at least talking with her her name is Dr. Elaine Youngblood with Kids First Pediatrics in Stockbridge. Their number is ###-###-####. She partners with several other doctors - all of which are very good. My son has seen both Dr. Chin and Dr. Williams on the occasions that we've had to make an appt. when Dr. Youngblood was off. Best of luck! C.
