Seeking Playgroup in Carrollton

Hi C.! I don't know if it will meet all of your needs, but I am a member of a wonderful playgroup in the area. I live in The Colony, and the closest playgroup I could find with welcoming moms was "The Greater Lewisville Mothers & More" group. I have been a member for close to three months now, and I will tell you that it is a lot of fun for my child and myself. Lots of things to do, meetings for all types of moms and situations, field trips, etc. They are listed on the Local Business Reviews (if I remember correctly). Just a thought.

I also live in Carrollton. I work full time but am interested in seeking a playgroup as well. I have even looked into CECPTA. I also think we need more friends.

Join the Carrollton Early Childhood PTA. www.cecpta.org Your child would be in my youngest son's playgroup. E-mail me personally and I will let you know where we are meeting next week.

C., My church does a play group in Carrollton about once a week (we're Mormon--Christian). We have activities with people who aren't members as well and don't exclude the group to just us, it just kind of happened that way. We'd gladly welcome you or anyone else that is interested. The kids range anywhere from about 3 months to 2 years. We've gone downtown, we've had a pool party, made aprons, gone to the park and had a picnic and fed the ducks, story-time, stroller skating and more!
