Seeking Moms in NYC East Village

I'm a first time Mom with a 2 1/2 month old boy and am looking to meet Moms with kids close to his age. Basically, I'd love to have an excuse to get out of the house, with or without baby in tow, have a drink in the neighborhood and talk about Motherhood etc. Since the weather isn't so great, the actual meeting may have to wait, but I'd be pleased to correspond with someone in my 'hood.

What can I do next?

Look on meetup.com for any groups in your area. It's a really great website.

Good luck!

best way to meet moms in your area...find out what your library offers in regards to classes for you and or you and baby...on long island we have an awesome library with newborn massage classes and new mother groups...it's a great place to start... also check out the hospital where you delivered...they could sponsor parenting classes and or a play group, it's a great way to meet people doing what you're doing....best of luck!

I am not in the east village however , I am a BAHAI
and the BAHAI CENTER in NYC is a great place to get together with great kids and great moms, and have a cup of coffee.

They have all kinds of stuff for kids

here is the link, and FYI you do NOT have to be a BAHAI to Enjoy plus its FREE.
