Seeking Moms Group Oxford Area

Hi A.! Welcome to Oxford! Look for the MOMS club-they meet at least once a month, and do some outings as well. Waterstone is a great place, but it can be hard to find other families due to it's layout. I belonged to the MOMS club when my girls were little, and still have many friendships. Also, Oxford Academy of Dance and Performing Arts (near Burger King-kind of behind it)has some great and affordable classes for little ones! My daughter is a "helper" and the classes are Weds or Thurs mornings. This would be a great way to meet other families right away! Also, we have a wonderful library, and there are classes for little ones, and little ones with mommies-we also met many wonderful people through there. Good luck, feel free to chat any time!

It's a wonderful group of christian women. Mom's get time to visit with each other, do crafts, or listen to a speaker. Great way to get to know other mom's in the area. While we do this, our kids all play together in age categories, in the day care area. There's a yearly fee, but it is well worth it. I just joined this group, but was a member in Fenton. It is very uplifting, great way to meet other moms, and women to relate to in our mom journey.

I too have just moved to Oxford (woodbriar village sub) with my husband and 3 daughters (7,5 and 2). I also am a stay at home mom.
I have read the posts and will check these groups out. Thank you. It's nice to know I'm not the only one out there that is looking for something.
I'd love to join the Christian group, however, money is extremly tight right now so I have to watch what I spend. I'm hoping to get more involved with the church (Woodside in Lake orion).
