Hi. My little one will be 3 in March. We have a guest list of 30 kids. I don't expect all will come, but we'd like to plan for at least 20 kiddos. Last year we did Dynamoze and had a blast. We'd like a new place for this year. Does anyone have any suggestions?

My little one will be 3 in 2 weeks and we are having her party at Funtastic Playland on San Pedro, 1 block from the North Star Mall. I guess it used to be the old Kidztown? Anyway the owners are amazing and they just built a snack bar in it. My girls love it there and my little one can not wait to have her party there. Check out their website at www.funtasticplayland.com

Hope this helps and good luck,
M. B

If you are interested, please look at my website www.mypartystation.com. All birthday parties here are private and perfect for that age group.

This is just my opinion. I have a daughter turning 4 this weekend.

The past year she has really enjoyed Playstation. They are fantastic especially if there will be more younger ones. It is my opinion that they are the bets for parties. They have a perfect setup, and everyone is so sweet there.

Inflatable Wonderland is by far her favorite, but there is little to offer the younger crowd and you won't see the kids the majority of the time because they are off in every direction. Great for a play date, not ideal for a party.

Again, just my opinion, but Funtastic Playland is too big and too stimulating. They have SO much to offer, and the owners really are fantastic, but there is too much in the space for kids this age. Again, that is just my opinion. I mean no offence.

We had reserved ump and Bounce, but then they went out of business so now we are having our daughter's party at Walker Ranch Park. They have a great playscape and they are free, as long as you don't want to reserve a shelter- if you do it is $40-$80. SA weather lets you have outdoor parties with little fear of weather problems.

Another fantastic polace for a party is the Feista Farm. They have pony rides included in the price of the reservation and the prices are really great.

Artworks sounds like fun, but we haven't been there yet. The children's museum also has parties. Good luck and have fun. The moms in my moms group really like Dynamoze, but I have not been there yet, so I can't say from first hand experiance.

Have fun and good luck.

ArtWorks is great. Lots of space and they can keep the kids busy with your choice of crafts. Look on-line for more info.

If you're in San Antonio, I'd recommend Inflatable Wonderland in Rolling Oaks Mall. There's also Jumping Jym in New Braunfels. I've been to parties at both for kids 4 and under and it's great.

I will second Artworks. They were wonderful there and the kids loved doing the painting etc. We also just had a party this past weekend at the Candy Lounge which is right next to Artworks. They were a little expensive but they handled everything and instead of cake and ice cream they do frest fruit and pound cake fondue with chocolate and carmel. The kids loved it. They also played pin the tail on the wall, limbo, had their pictures taken, did a bubble gum blowing contest and much more. It might be a little to much for a 3 year old but it was so nice. For that age group I think I would go with Artworks. Of course there is always Incredible Pizza though they really don't have tons of rides etc. for that age group.
Have fun.....
