My husband was a wood-shop teacher for 7 years before taking his part-time contracting business full-time this past fall. He can do everything from a total house remodel to fixing your crooked cabinet door knobs. He makes bids on most jobs, but he also has an hourly rate. Gary Anderson, his experience is several years building and managing new homes for DR Horton, and several years insurance repairs (i.e., flood, fire or smoke damage and wind/hail damage.
