Hi all,

Thanks to all of you, since moving to Clifton in August of 2007, I have found a great pediatrician and OB/GYN. I now need your help in finding a great dentist for my 6 year old son and myself.

Thanks to all in advance!

So What Happened?

Hello everyone,

A big thanks to everyone who resommended dentists. We settled with the dentist with the later hours and they are wonderful. Having Mamasource around has made our settling into Clifton a very easy transition ;-))

Hey, I live in Belleville abd use a great dentist for my family including my 7 year old son. It's a couple with two business locations, Dr. Porcaro and Dr. Amirata (wife) and they have a location in Bloomfield and West Orange with evening hours. They're great with children!

Hi L.: I also live in Clifton and take my 5 year old daughter to Denistry for Children in Bloomfield, address is: 382 west passaic avenue. # ###-###-####. My daughter sees Dr Spiegel. The staff is really nice and he's good and patient with her. I havent ever seen any of the other dentists in the practice so i cant comment on them. She has been going there since she has been 2 yo. She had a cavity filled last year and even though she was not happy with the entire situation, i felt comfortable sitting there and holding her hand through the entire expierence. If i can be of any help, please let me know. Good Luck!

Hi,
I just wanted to comment since I saw another mom posted about Dentistry for Children. My son saw Dr Spiegel when he fell and chipped a tooth and he was okay. But when it came time for a cleaning, I had several recommendations for Dr Wasserman, so I wanted to try him. While Dr Wasserman was attempting to check his teeth, I encouraged my son to say "Aaaahhh" and Dr Wasserman said, "please, are you going to be one of THOSE moms?" I thought it was a bit rude since I didn't feel like I was interfering with the cleaning, I was just encouraging my 3 year old! That being said, the staff IS very nice, but if I went back, I wouldn't use Dr Wasserman. I'm glad you posted this question since I might try one of the other recommended dentists in the area. Good luck!

Hey, there -- Dr. Post in Bloomfield on Broad Street is absolutely the best. Both she and her entire staff are amazing with children (I don't think my son moved once when he was in the chair), and extremely personable with adults, too. I highly recommend them. Hope that helps!
