A.,
Our dentist is at 15 and Schoenherr, which I know isn't exactly in your backyard, but I drive from Beverly Hills and my sister from West Bloomfield to go there. If I moved to Ohio, I would drive back to see them. As a matter of fact, one day when I was joking with them about that they told me that a family who moved to Germany because of the father's job, books their twice yearly exams for the time they're home on visits because they love them so much.
They always take you right on time. Most of the staff has been there for years. All of the hygienists, technichians, and doctors are kind, patient, actually listen to you. I have been going to that office since about 1990.
The first time I took my oldest daughter to the dentist, she was four. She walked down the hall with them for her cleaning and ckup by herself. When it was over I heard MOM MOM!!! I looked back down the hall and she was carrying a superball in each hand (one for her sister) and walking toward me. Loud as anything she said MOM, IT WAS JUSTAS FUN AS I KNEW! IT WOULD BE!!! She's been the same way ever since and she's twenty. In her teen years she would come to me and say.. um, mom.. isnt it time we should be going to the dentist? I would have died before I said that to my mother.
Her sister has always loved them also, although not so exuberantly in public lol.
The name of the office is Knollwood Dental Care and their phone number is ###-###-####. You can give them my name if you wish. http://www.knollwooddentalcare.com/
Good Luck
