Seeking Daycare - Hollywood,FL

I am currently looking for a job, and having a difficult time with it. I wanted to know what daycares in the hollywood/ft. lauderdale area are worth mentioning. I know that in a daycare setting, one on one care is difficult, but I am looking for a place that follows codes, is trustworthy, and actually interacts with the children. My son is six months old, and he is very sociable. He loves watching other kids play, interacting with other babies, and loves getting attention from other people. He is sensitive to loud noises and doesn't like a loud person, but he smiles at everyone once they tone down a bit. I want to be able to check on my son without question, and feel as though my son is safe and not being neglected.

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks!

Hi S.:

My daughter, sounds a lot like your son! My daughter is in a great infant room at Neighborhood Kids on W Oakland Park Blvd, between Hiatus and Nob Hill ###-###-####. Her teachers are wonderful and they follow strict gudelines but give tons of attention, you can even watch your son on the internet via webcam which is a wonderful feature.

Best wishes!

You might want to look for a child care center that has the Head Start Program, its a federally funded program and they seek for excellence in the childcares. Im a social worker in one of the head start centers in Miami fl.(near down town)or look for childcare center that are established and had more than one chldcare.

For you husband, well my husband is a mail man and he told me the post office is hiring casuals which means you do the same as a mailman without the benefits. It pay about $18.00 a hour. I guess he would go to the mail postoffice and ask how to apply.
