I have seen some great sounding playgroups listed in the Atlanta/ Decatur area, but most are geared towards stay-at--home moms ( with activities scheduled during the week). Does anyone know of a working moms playgroup, or is interested in forming one? Would love to meet other working moms, and for my daughter to make some "baby buddies". She is the only infant at her in-home daycare. Looking for events scheduled on the weekends or late weekday afternoons. Thanks!
I am a part of the Snellville SAHM and WAHM group at meetup.com, and I love it. If you go to meetup.com and search for "work at home mom", it should give a list of groups near you.

My name is K.. I'm a working mom who moved to Atlanta 9 months ago and have since hooked up with a working mom's playgroup that's great. It's a pretty big group and I don't know many of the women, but it's nice to catch up with the few I do know and meet new people. My son Eric is 2 1/2 and he loves it. It's held in Ashford Park at 10:30am on the first Saturday of every month (there is one this Saturday). If the weather isn't nice, someone in the group invites everyone to their house. The women are all really nice and the kids vary in age from a few months to 4+ years old (most are between 1 and 3). You're welcome to join us this Saturday . .husbands/significant others are welcome too, and I've seen a few show up!

Look at meetup.com I am not a working mom but I know that there are groups on meetup for working moms. You can pretty much find any kind of group you are looking for on the site. The group I am in isn't in your area but we have a mom that schedules weekend activites for her and the other working moms in the group.
