Hey Mamas, for those of you that scrapbook, how do you store your 12X12 paper? I have a TON of it and I'd like some (inexpensive) storage ideas. Currently my paper is in a rolling filing cart, but everytime I move it I just know it's going to collapse! Help!! I welcome ALL ideas...even if I need to be imagininative and crafty! :)

And I should mention this, I'd like something stationary. I already have a travel keeper for away-crops. Thanks!

Priority mail boxes work WONDERFULLY! :) You can store them on a shelf vertically sorted by color.... :)

Hi,

I, too, am an avid scrapper and I have more paper than I can handle! :o) I found a stackable storage unit, that so far has worked wondferully for me. They are by sterlite, I believe and they are stackable three drwaer units that are like 13x13. I think they were about $10-$12 (I have forgotten, sorry) and were in the storage solutions area in WalMart Supercenter when I bought them about a year ago. The company sticker on the unit showed that it fit 1212 paper so as I scrapper, I knew it would be the one for me. I bought 4 in the beginning and now I need a couple more to do more sorting...

Hi T.!

I am an avid Scrapbooker and I store all of my 12 x 12 paper on racks that you see in Scrapbook Stores. I purchased them when other Scrapbook stores were going out of business. I have about 15 racks, but of course, you are referring to taking them with you when you crop.

I have used the PSB Paper Taker put out by Crop & Style, which I sold both of the ones I had to other scrapbookers that love them! Me, personally, I buy the Generations Scrapfolio either from Wal-Mart or I use my Michael's or HL coupon and buy it from there. I have 6 of these and have alphabitized (each comes with tabs for organizing) each folio with the colors and I put all my colored cardstock in them. I then have the Crop & Style Junior bag that I carry and store the folios in and that is what I carry with me when I crop. For speciality papers, I use the clear case with the handles you can buy at Michael's or HL, or Jo Ann's to store my patterned paper. You can also buy the clear container (no handles) at the Container store, great for storing pattered paper.

Good luck! Keep on Croppin'!!

Hello T.,
I am a new and huge scrapbooker, just started in march.
I have tons of paper my self. I have seen the big accordian box,but I too have not yet purchased. I have decided to get
organizer(magazine holders) then have dividers to sort colors.
My friend, Amy, owns a scrapbook store. I have seen these there as well as ABC Distributing.com. Very cheap! Lots of scrapbook stuff!

check it out

I store mine in a keeper that I found in the scrapbook isle at walmart. It was like $8 or something. It has a handle on top and one of those turn type lock things on the front and the inside is lika na accordian. Garden Ridge also has what looks like magazine holders with dividers that are made for 12x12 pages.

I have a 12 X 12 X 6 inch storage case. It stands upright and when you open the top, it has several file places for the paper. I use it at home and when I'm away. It has a handle like a little piece of luggage which makes it easy for traveling. I found it at a scrapbook store several years ago, but I'm sure you could find something similar at Recollections or maybe even Michaels or Hobby Lobby. Good Luck! A.

Well, I'm not a scrapbooker, and I don't know how much 12X12 you need to store, but I keep various kinds and sizes of paper in a nifty open-sided file under my printer in the computer room.
I paid more than I wanted to for it back when, but I'd bet the price has come down over the years. Might check Office Depot, Staples or my expensive favorite, The Container Store.
Good Luck!
