What's your favorite Scottsdale or Phoenix Resort? I'm looking for something fun and romantic for me and my hubby. Maybe some place with a private pool or jacuzzi?

What can I do next?

If you are looking for romantic, I would suggest the Royal Palms. It is right next to the Phoenician and very close to old town Scottsdale, but it has a much more intimate, casual elegance feel. It has the most "personality" of our nicer resorts, in my opinion. The Camelback Inn (also a JW Marriott) is very nice. The Westin Kierland is good if you are really focused on shopping and night life. The Fairmont Princess is also lovely. I used to be a wedding florist, so I have seen inside most of the local resorts. Feel free to PM me when you have your choices narrowed down and I can give you more detailed info, if you like :)

My last trip home to AZ we stayed at the Scottsdale Resort. It was beautiful! It can get pricey in Scottsdale. The Phoenican is nice too.

Several of my girlfriends and I took a trip to Scottsdale one summer and stayed at Orange Tree Resort. We loved it. The resort was beautiful and a nice pool/jacuzzi available. I believe there was a golf course on-site as well, but we didn't play golf so my memory is a bit foggy on that. We didn't feel like it was overrun with lots of kids or families. We were in a timeshare type situation, so I am not sure if all the rooms are timeshares or not, but it is worth looking into.

We just stayed at the desert ridge Marriott....beautiful and has great summer deals. But there are lots of families there so may not be romantic enough

My favorite is the Hyatt Regency at Gainey Ranch. It's like a tropical paradise in the middle of the desert. Beautiful bougainvillea and great art work throughout the resort. The Phoenician is nice too, but I saw too much wildlife there (for my taste)...but it's a very nice resort.

Have a great trip! I love Scottsdale!
