I am a stay at home mom thinking about returning to work.
Has anyone recently hired a resume writer service or done there own resume with a website that was helpful? Apparently from what I have read lately, the format of resumes have changed. Any advice would be appreciated. :)

What can I do next?

Hi Kris, years ago I got a few resume writing books from the library and did my own. I have often gotten questions from professional recruiters asking if I paid someone to create mine. So botton line, don't pay someone else to do it for you.

Both my Husband and I (when I used to work) used this company and got great results (employment)! Their pricey but excellent.

We hired a resume writer , and it was ridiculously expensive. I have since written them for others utilizing what we got from the professional. I could help you with yours at a much less expensive price than what you would pay for a service if you're interested.

I don't know what typeof ocmputer system you have but my laptop has a resume writer on it. It has a layout and prompts for specific information.

My theory is don't pay someone to do what I can do......

I've not used it in a long time but this summer my 14 yr old had to use the resume eriter on her laptop for summer school and she did a great job with it. She got an A!!

We both use Windows Vista.

Good luck!
