I did IVF 3 times at Stanford with no success after going the Clomid/IUI route for a couple years. Once at Pacific Fertility in SF and have 4.5 year old twin boys and an 18 month old son from FET. I recommend them HIGHLY! I'm 41 now. Good luck, and if you want advice/have questions on Fertility issues/docs in the bay area, I'm here for you.
My husband and I went though IVF and now we have a beautiful daughter! (4 months old). She was born one month before my 40th birthday. We went through the Pacific Fertility Center in Westwood. Our doctor was Dr. Sahakian - he was brilliant. Our insurance didn't cover it, but he had a slight price break if you bought a package that would allow you to try three times. We bought that package - but it worked the first time. There were a ton of shots, it was discouraging at times, but well worth it. What sort of things were you wondering about?

I underwent IVF treatment through Reproductive Science Center of the Bay Area (RSC) - Their main office is in San Ramon but they have local offices in Fremont, San Jose(near Good Samaritan) and Orinda also. I am the happy mom to a almost 2 yr old daughter. I had Dr. Weckstein - a Wonderful , mellow dr who solved a 6 yr fertility mystery for us - no one could tell us why we kept losing babies and he figured it out in 1 visit and we are going back for more later this year. Its always a tough, stressful process - but i've been through it all - feel free to ask anything - most likely i've been there.

I've done IVF and was successful on my third try. I now have a 3 year old son who is the light of my life. I am getting ready to do FET with my two remaining embroyos in December. I wish you lots of luck on your journey to becoming a mother!
No, I haven't but my sister-in-law has done it twice. She is having her 2nd child soon! Best of luck!!
I haven't gotten to IUI or IVF yet, but just posted some links to online infertility support groups. I am J. A on the first 2, and Janyan on the 3rd. All three sites have great rescources to others that know what you (and I) are going through. If it's okay, I'll keep you in my prayers, as, I know by now should have either a BFP or a BFN.
