I would contact Mr Singer. He should be about $200. You can find his information at http://www.sharpcookies.net. He's great with kids.
I am planning an event for an organization in the North 'burbs and the performer is the highlight of the event. The rest of the time will be spent on crafts and snack/treats. This will be for kids in the age range of birth-5 years old, but maybe a little older. Approximately 50-75 kids have shown up to the event in the past. We are a non-profit organization, so our budget is limited. We are hoping to spend $200-$300 on a 45 min. - 1 hour act. If any of you have some good experiences or recommendations for a large crowd, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your time!

Hi, I can totally recommend Mary Macaroni! She will do face painting, singing, all kids of stuff. She's done events for the company I work for and everyone has LOVED her. Her number is ###-###-#### and the website is www.marymacaroni.com I think she would do a great job!
My son is 13 and does magic for kids birthday parties. He has a 15 minute act and charges $50. Maybe you could put together a couple of different acts to make an hour.

P.S. Moms, I am a local mom as well. I would love to get to know some more new moms in the area. Hope I can Jigglejam with you & your kids real soon. It's supposed to be great weather for a Jigglejam this weekend. :)
I don't have any specific names for you, but an idea to find some. Here it is: Ravinia has a series of kid's concerts called "Dancing Sprouts" that includes some local acts. Maybe you could find the names of the acts on their web site and see if any are available. All of the shows there are free and are 45 minutes long.

Jawan Harris is a 12 year old singer who's been on TV and in various films. This kid has a full show complete with kid dancers. He may be a great performer for your event. You can see him on YouTube, search: Jawan Harris
We had Jeanie B. and the Jellybeans play for our preschool about 4 years ago and she ROCKED the place! The crowd was 0-6 in age, but the parents also loved their show, which was about 45 minutes and held at a local restaurant/club. I can't recall what we paid, but we were a low-budget non-profit, too, so it could not have been that much! I would highly recommend that band. If you google her, you should get to her website. She is a mom, living in Evanston, I believe, and super sweet!I think her real name is Jean Bonacorsi or something like that.
