We are traveling out to CA in July for my brother's wedding and there will be no children at the rehersal dinner or wedding. Can anyone recommend a good sitter in the area to watch my children at our hotel while we attend?

I'm not in Sonoma (not even close) but I am in the SF Bay Area.
I used a nanny referral service once when I needed temporary help while my nanny was unavailable.
It is run by a woman, Jessica, who I spoke to directly. We chatted and she then suggested 2 potentials for me. She sent very thorough resumes (including drug test results) and I interviewed one. She was great and did such a terrific job with our kid.
I know that A Nanny Solution helps place nannies for everything from one time needs to full time placement. Even with short notice. While Jessica is in the San Jose area, I know she serves most of the Bay Area. I think she might have someone in Sonoma but if not, she may have a recommendation for a similar service.
Also, if you are staying in a hotel you can ask the conceirge. They may have a recomendation.
