I'm wavering between getting the Garmin 110 and 405. Any recommendations? I mainly just want to track time/speed/distance. Thank you!

What can I do next?

I don't use a watch like all my other running buddies do. I use my phone app for distance and speed. The only reason I would get a watch is if I was interested in a heart rate monitor too, but I am not convinced I need one and do fine without.

Anyway, here is what runner's world says about the 110. They have other watch reviews out there too. (If you haven't looked on their website already)

I have the Garmin 405. Love it. I am pretty tech savvy but for some reason getting small devices to sync with my computer, not so savvy. This was easy and it's easy to set up and use. I had a battery issue with mine (Garmin wasn't registering it charged). Sent me a new one no problems. I recommend it.

My husband runs - he's training for his 3rd Ironman - he had the 110, but after a year it stopped working because he would clean it off, rinse it, after his runs. He recommends spending the extra money on getting a waterproof one - he has a 910XT one and loves it! He says it seems to pick up the satellites easier and faster as well. The display is bigger and the heart rate strap is more comfortable too! Good luck!
