Well, I know what works with my daught is grounding her from the stuff she likes and loves, It can range from the computer,Tv, Friends, phone anything you see that makes them happy take away and explained to them this why and this how long and if they what to finds ways to get to use them you are just the mom to say well you will remove them from the house until the grounding is done.Girls are hard to raise and i think they need more discipline as a preteen and teen. They are willing to push and the more they push the longer you stand your ground!

Well, your subject says they're preteen/teen, but, you don't say anything about what you're needing to discipline them for?

BUT, without knowing any particulars, if we are talking about punishment, then I'd say the punishment needs to fit the deed.

What are the ages?? I'm having trouble with my pre-teen 11 years old. It would be nice to see if we are having any of the same issues.

And their ages are?? I agree with Kay that the punishment or discipline needs to match the deed in one way or another.

Whatever you decide pick your poison and stick to as hard as it is on mom you have to show them you mean buisness.
