Hi everyone!! I'm wondering if anyone could suggest a good preschool in Logan, Utah? And do you know of one that will take a kid that is not quite yet potty trained? My son is almost 3 and he stays at home with me all day everyday and I think he would really enjoy the interaction with other kids, he loves playing with other kids but doesn't get much of that right now because we don't know many people with kids. Thanks!!

What can I do next?

I live in Smithfield and take my 4 year old girl to Billy Sue White just on my street. She is amazing. She's full for now, but is taking new sign ups for this fall. ###-###-####. This fall I will be going to Sports Academy, however, because Billye Sue won't be doing a 3 day class. Just 4 2-day classes. I've heard the Sports Academy is amazing. Three hours, MWF, or T TH, but they do swimming, tumbling, dance and/or tennis, also. So, we'll be trying that in Sept. If you wouldn't mind the drive 4 miles north, Billye Sue would be the way to go. I've also been to Tana Downs, and heard that Kim Lamb is good. Both here in Smithfield.
Good Luck. Not sure if they'll take him if not potty trained.?

I actually live in Logan too and I know many people that are very happy with the preschool located in the Sports Academy. Good luck!

I take my little boy to Joyce's Early World of Learning in Smithfield. It's a little bit of a drive there but I carpool with another mom so I only make it twice a week. It's nice because you can choose the amount of time you want him to go. Preschool is expensive so I only have him go twice a week. It ends up being around 48.00 dollars a month which I think is great considering a lot of places are over 70. About the potty training I'm not sure, they do provide a daycare so you may want to call and ask.

Hi J., Morningside School at 220 North and 100 East is a great school. Children from many different ethnic and religious groups attend. Several of the teachers have been there ten years and more and all have degrees or the equivalent. Morningside accepts children at three years old, potty trained and verbal (some exceptions apply to age if the child is mature for his age.) I would suggest a "play group" until your child is of age and potty trained.

Magical Beginnings in Smithfield is a wonderful preschool. I live in Logan but I make the drive 3 times a week and it is worth it. The teachers name is Wendee Lamb and she has a 3 year old class and a 4 year old class. She is a great teacher.

My little girl goes to Summit Preschool in Smithfield. Barbara is great and individualizes her program. She took my daughter a month before she turned 3 because I needed to work a few hours a week. I was nervous about her having an accident when she was away from me, so I put her in a pull up for preschool. Most preschools won't take them if they aren't potty trained. I asked Barbara to call me if she had a bowel movement and I would come get her so that she didn't have to worry about it. That never happened, fortunately, but I just didn't want her to have to deal with that when she only has a couple hours with the kids.

My friend runs Small Fry Academy and is really good. She's in North Logan. I've also heard good thing about Montessori. All Academy is a popular preschool and very good, but they have a lot of kids. So it just depends on your comfort level and your child's personality. Oh, you might check out Melody Lane, too.
