Pregnancy Test Issues

That is how it was for me for both of my pregnancies. A line is a line no matter how faint. Congratulations and call the doctor!

I agree with Lacy, if for any reason you think you are pregnant... Call and make an appointment as this will be your true confirmation.

Hello! You could always go out and get the test that actually say PREGNANT OR NOT PREGNANT that would solve the line problem lol. But it's an expensive test and it sounds like you have already spent some money on test. Ahhh just go to the doctors so u can be for sure!! Good luck keep us updated.

Call your OB. A friend of mine took a test that came back neg. and a week later she took one and it was pos. and now she has a daughter who is almost 4.

I used Clear Blue Easy with the three of my pregnancies (I miscarried once), it was right on each time. But I would also suggest calling your doctor.

I would guess you are preggers because the test detects the HCG levels. The pregnancy hormone has to be there for the line to show up even a little bit!

When I found out I was pregnant for my third, it was very faint. I found out on Father's day so I wrapped it up and gave it to my husband in a watch box. She was a surprise so I said "You will NEVER guess what I got you." Anyway...he looked at it and couldn't see the line. He kept saying, "it says you're not!" Finally I yelled and said "Why would I give that to you if I wasn't pregnant!!!" :)

Alot of my friends have had VERY faint positives. My first was a bright line before I even set it down too. Wait a few days and try again, but I would guess congrats are in order.

Mine was like that with my son...very faint, and I went back out and bought 3 more tests of different brands and they all were the same result, but faint. So I would have to say you probably are:)

I do not test postive on Urine test I always have had to go get blood test done and this is my third Pregnacy. Good Luck!!!

I agree with the other moms, even if it is faint you probably are pregnant. Congrats if you are. Let us all know when you find out for sure.

I would go get a blood test at your doctors office. I had a very early miscarriage last winter. I didn't realize until I went to the Drs office because of a strange bleeding. The test at the dr. was positive, but a low hormone lever. I took a home test that was positive but faint and each day kept getting fainter not brighter. The tests at the dr.s office measure the hormone levels in your blood and can confirm if you are or have been (in my case) pregnant. They should do test tests about 2 days apart to determine if the hormone level is rising or dropping.

I would say that it is negative, I had the same thing happen when I was trying to get pregnant, the second line was really faint. When I was finally pregnant the line turned bright pink right when the pee hit the stick.

I had that happen to me with my second child who is now 10. The line was very faint with the test I took at home. I went to the doctors office to take one of their tests same thing. They told me that sometimes that will happen when you are just pregnant. Sometimes the hormone is not always as strong in the begining. Like a lot of the other moms said you should call your OB and make an appointment, because chances are you are pregnant. Congratulations!!!!!!!

A line is a line...no matter how faint! If I were you, I'd make an OB appointment and then start decorating the nursery!!
