yes, my friend's mom (who is like a mom to me) knew before i did i was pregnant with #2. She swore i was and i guess i was in denial. She siad she knew because i was pretty but "green", lol
Has anyone ever had a husband or significant other figure out your pregnant before you? If so, what reason did they give for thinking you were pregnant?
I'm just a little worried because my husband asked me Monday if I thought I might be pregnant. The only other time he has said anything like that was before I knew I was pregnant with my daughter. He made me take a test then and come to find out I was six weeks pregnant. It took so long to figure it out because I had only had one period after not having them for years. I asked him why he thinks that but he just said he "has an inkling." I did ask him how far along he thinks I am and he said only a week. I told him that that doesn't count yet and that you aren't pregnant until a doctor tells you that you are pregnant. We can't afford another child and I would be 35 when I delivered so I'm not sure its a great idea. I guess we will have to wait and see. I am not even late yet.
I would love to have another child. We only have one and I'm worried about having an only child. I just don't know if having a child so your child is not an only child is the right thing to do. I guess it's not up to me at this point. THY WILL BE DONE.

OMG, YES!!!
This is a really weird and cool story.
My mother knew I was pregnant with my son (he's now 5 1/2) way before I told her. She didn't exactly know she knew, but she knew... let me explain.
My mother and I are really close... I was living with my boyfriend at the time, but I'd visit home most weekends and stay with my parents. I was about 10 weeks along, and hadn't told ANYONE but my boyfriend that I was pregnant. I was doing what I thought was pretty customary, waiting until the first trimester had passed. I was not showing at all yet, still comfortably in my regular clothes.
Well, at times, I'd ask my mom to come sit in the bathroom and talk to me while I soaked in the tub (weird, I know, please don't judge! I liked the company and conversation! LOL) So anyhow, she began telling me about this weird experience she had been having. My mom was only 19 when I was born, so at the time I was pregnant with my son, she was 51, and not in menopause yet. She was telling me about some recent overwhelming feelings that she was pregnant. She was having dreams that she was pregnant, which were totally freaking her out. She found herself acutely aware of baby things while shopping, when ordinarily this wouldn't have caught her attention. She even had a late period (which could certainly have been menopause, and probably was), but she knew she was still having periods, so she knew she could still get pregnant... so she even went to the extent to take a test, which was negative... then the period still didn't come, so she took another... she prayed about it, basically saying to God that this certainly isn't what she was expecting, but if this is the plan He had for her, she'd accept it! And on, and on, and on... until finally, I couldn't take it anymore and finally told her, "Mom, it's not you, it's ME." She nearly lost consciousness. LOL
To this day, we believe that somehow, subconsciously, she just knew. Call it motherly intuition, divine guidance, cosmic connection, whatever, but somehow, she knew. She was misinterpreting what was going on with her, making it about herself, instead of me, but she KNEW.
No not over here, I always knew before my husband. But, my husband did point out a actress on the soap opera I watch. (She was not showing, but she indeed was) He said he could tell by her boobs. Ha ha!
I am currently 18 weeks pregnant with number 2 and when we found out that I actually was my husband came clean and said that he was going to suggest that I take another test (I took one and it was negative and we both suggested that I wait at least a few days before taking another) because I just `looked`pregnant. Could you imagine if he had said something to me and I took another test and I wasnt pregnant
This might be TMI but I wanted to have sex all the time and my partner suggested that I might be pregnant before I even had an inkling.
Nope. I was always the first to suspect it.
Well kind of. My hubby will suspect but I already kind of thought so too. Mostly morning sickness starting suddenly. But I had a friend who said that I started glowing and she thought I was pregnant before I even suspected. I thought she was nuts...LOL
Had I not known my body better..my hubby would have figured it out I am sure before I did.
I knew the first day of my missed with both my second and third.
I got really moody and sick...So..he would have realized something was up:)
Now right before I get my period he always panics a bit...cause I get moody and feel sick:)
NO I had always knew I had dreams then everything else followed.I waited to tell him this last time because I just wanted him to figure it out but he didn't,I didn't wait that long just a week.
