Possible to Alter a Reguar Bra into a Nursing Bra?

I would love to get a nursing bra that fits me better, but with limited selection in stores, I haven't found a great fit in my size. Do you think it is possible to add a strap and clip to a regular bra to convert it into a nursing bra?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Oh, I am SO doing this! I actually have the opposite size problem than most of you, in that my cups are small compared to my band size. I wish Nordstrom had told me of their service when went there looking for nursing bras (they didn't stock any). or maybe I can do it myself! I am so excited a world of opportunity just opened up for me!

I just popped myself out the top after about a month.
Stupid clip things irritated me.
I can unhook a bra one handed, but needed 4 arms to unhook the cup, and 12 arms to find the sucker to get it reattached.
Forget snaps, my shirt was the only thing that kept people from losing an eye.
Zaaaaah-weeeeeeeeeeeee-ing!
Argh!
I hate this thing.
Hate. It.
We need to start laying eggs.
Mammals? Stupid mammal mama-meals.
LOL.
I wear demis, though, even in my gozonga-boobies size while nursing.
(I forget the size, but bigger than my head.).

I lived in the nursing tank tops from Target. Not much support if you're chesty but super comfortable and not too expensive. I think they were around $20.

I know I have seen instructions online on how to convert a regular bra into a nursing bra. It's been a while though but I'm sure if you Google you could come up with something. It looked really easy and I was considering it myself until I finally found a nursing bra that I actually liked and fit me really well. I wear the Bravado Allure http://www.bravadodesigns.com/shop/the-allure-underwire-n...

Intimacy does that and also Nordstrom. I was in HH and J size nursing and needed an underwire. Nursing bras were so hard to find in those sizes with underwires. So I had a couple altered.

Bras that have straps that can be changed also worked great, just unclip from one side in the front. I used some made by barely there that were just regular bras. Granted sometimes it takes a second to find the strap again. The service from Nordstrom sounds great.

I never used nursing bras. I tried, hated those things.
So then I just used sports bras and lifted it up when nursing.
Or just used a regular bra with nursing pads in it and just lifted that up when having to nurse.
