If anyone is looking to sell a play kitchen in good condition, I'm looking for one for my daughter. Nothing fancy, just a good kitchen for pretending. Her new favorite thing is having tea parties, so I think she's ready.

What can I do next?

try checking out Free Cycle. They have groups on Yahoo where people give away things for free... allll sorts of stuff. Just go to yahoo then groups, and search for a Free Cycle group near you!

Dear Amilia,

We found a good, inexpensive, wooden kitchen on E-Bay. You had to put it together but the shipping was included in the price. Our daughter plays with it everyday, it's a great gift.

I just bought a used Little Tykes Country Kitchen from "Once upon a Child" It was $45 but they are discontinued and selling for $150 on Ebay...the play kitchens go pretty quick at used toy stores so call around and see if there are any available at locations near you. My 18 month old LOVES hers!

Good luck!

Hi Ameilia,

Have you tried www.freecycle.org ( or it might be .com). It's a website where you can get things for free and give away things for free. You could post on there that you are looking for a play kitchen - who knows, you could get one for free! It's an awesome site. I use it all the time. I just got my son some good books.
