i could be the mirena because with that iud it does take a couple months for your body to adjust and with that iud your periods may become lighter or even stop
Ok so after my pregnancy that is when I could start to feel that sharp pain when I was ovulating. It usually was a quick sharp pain that was over with in a second.
Time wise I'm ovulating now, and have had the lovely discharge but this time it looked like there was a little bit of brown blood with it (very little, more like lightly streaked.) That was 2 days ago. Yesterday and today I have been feeling these light but sharp pains on my left side. They come and go sometimes lasting a couple minutes, and sometimes just for a second.
I had the Mirena inserted 2 months ago and so far no troubles with it. Could this be something going wrong with it?
Thanks ladies! Sure enough right after I hit post, it went away. Of course it would LOL!! Thanks so much. I'll be keeping an eye on this just in case, and friday when I get paid, I'll get a pregnancy test. Just in case.
Period watcher?? Soooooo getting it!

I don't know if the helps, but sometimes I have some spotting when I ovulate. Not every month- but some months. I also have cramping every month like you described.
Get to the doc and have it checked out.

I have the paragard iud and a wk before my period I get a few sharp pains in the inside of my left hip and sometimes it hurts down into my leg. I assume its the pc of metal I have in my body! I get crampy when I ovulate so I think its normal. My sister has the mirena and her periods finally stopped but she spotted off and on all the time.
You can keep a journal of symptoms with the date and then when you go to your doctor next time, you have lots of info to give. Or if you have an iphone, they have an app called Period Tracker - it's great for stuff like that!
