the only thing that matters is what's on the inside. just be the best you thY you can be and you will shine!
I just got a mailer from a doctor. The procedures include freezing the fat to get rid of the muffin top and the mailer mentioned some procedures to lift the face w/ injections. Are any of these things safe ? Has anybody tried them?
I have been doing facial excercises. They help a tad. I would love some fullness back in my face !!!
I would like to venture into something else, in addition, to facial excercises I do every couple of days......Just seems too risky!

I'm 51. Here are my low-risk and effective treatments for these "aging" issues:
The "muffin top" reduction procedure I use is to exercise vigorously 5-6 times every week.
The facial exercise I do regularly that works wonders is to smile!
;-)
I would be skeptical of mailers and procedures that "promise" something. It smells scammy and risky to me.
I'd research the procedure instead. Contact the plastic surgery department of your local hospital and ask them about the procedure.
A liquid facelift would probably be a good thing for you if you are looking for fullness. Just make sure to go to a real plastic surgeon and not the kind of place that sends you mailers. Its really not that risky at all in the right hands.
I agree with the comment below -- don't use a place that sends you mailers. Research your surgeons well.
I've never heard of freezing the fat - only lipo, which works well, in the right hands. As far as your face goes -- I assume the injections they were talking about were fillers such as Restylane? Fillers work well, and they are not permanent, so you can't be messed up too badly if someone fills you in the wrong area. They are expensive, though, for something that doesn't last.
Look at Kathy Lee Gifford -- she has had fillers and recommends them highly.
I am 42 and regularly mistaken for much younger. I'm not anticipating considering any "medical" interventions down the line because they usually look bad! If some people are finding doctors and procedures that are so good they look younger and you don't know why-great! Research well! But every girl working in the reception area of my local plastic surgeon's office (I go for laser hair treatments occasionally and the hair removal place shares an office with a plastic surgeon who does all breast and lipo and botox type stuff-he's HIGHLY rated and people come from very far away to use him) ANYWAY every girl working there has that weird "worked on" look. The puffy lips, the static forehead, the expressionless eyes, the strange cheeks and top lips (fillers), I don't know, just that weird look. I can always recognize it. Maybe they've gotten carried away by working there, but I see that look around.
What do I do? Stay out of the sun. Drink tons of water. Exercise a lot. Get enough sleep. Upgrade make-up and hair occasionally (can't do my harsh vampy look anymore). I've got the "Facercise" book on stand-by which works VERY well when people use it faithfully. As I get older I'll use it. I know women in their 50s and 60s who look much better naturally by being healthy than younger ones who look "worked on".
So BE careful!!! The main risk is a botch job!
If I had the money I would be down there for my consult. LOL I heard freezing the fat was a good procedure. What type of injections? Collagen? I need some lift for around my mouth and my eyes. I am 41.
I'm waiting until my youngest is 18 - I'll be 45 - and then I'm going in for all kinds of work "under the hood." :P
I do plan to research like crazy before I do something though.
