What online sites do you ladies use for xmas shopping? I'd like to get a jump start on xmas shopping but the only things I've bought online are clothes. Thanks!

I do most of my online shopping through Amazon. Free shipping on most items if you spend at least $25. I would also trust any major retailer, like Pottery Barn, Bed Bath and Beyond, Crate & Barrel, etc.

For toys, you can shop online through my Discovery Toys website at http://www.discoverytoyslink.com/karenchao We have great toys, games, books and CDs for babies through school-aged children.

I hate paying for the sometimes outrageous shipping fees. For me it's not more in gas as Target and the mall are a mile away.

I have used overstock.com and barnes and noble.

Start at ebates.com. NOT a scam. I have made hundreds of dollars back there.

Some of my favorites are

Nordstrom (free shipping)
Amazon (some items free shipping)
Pottery Barn
Old Navy/Gap
Children's Place
Gymboree
American Girl
Sephora
Talbots
Body Shop
Crate and Barrel

Also, register at stores you like so you can get email alerts about free shipping and online discount codes.

Amazon is my go-to site, but I've also bought at thinkgeek (for the nerds you love), buy.com, and a couple of other sites. Most things on Amazon can get "free super saver shipping" as long as you spend $25 or more on that order. It's slower shipping, but if you're starting this early, that shouldn't matter! :)

I'm giving the little kids Loot Bag combos (mabelslabels.com) since there are 6 of them and 6 sets per order.

You can also order toys online. I've had good luck with Amazon and Barns and Nobel ships FAST for books and music.

If you use zuilly.com, it takes a long time to deliver, so order well ahead.

I use winecountrygifts.com for food towers and such. I send my stepdaughter their cookies and she really liked them. They deliver on time and nobody has ever complained. Good for that family gift where you don't know what to get but you know they have voracious teenagers.

Oh, yes, ThinkGeek! And Woot.com and Threadless.com for other unique tshirts.

Personalizationmall.com has been good as well. Don't know what to get Grandma? How about a "we love grandma" photo frame?

If there's an exact item I want, I'll shop it around a few sites for the best price. I find that amazon.com usually has what I want for the best price.

I do most of my XMas shopping online because it's just easier than trying to do it with a toddler and preschooler. I will be waiting closer to the Holiday (after Thanksgiving) because I got some amazing deals last year in the month before XMas.
