Hi, Marie! I just recently had new carpet put in by D&R Floors and can't say enough about the wonderful job they did. They were great in helping me select the style and color, and the installation team was very professional and did a fantastic job. They are located in The Colony, on Main Street in front of the CCA store, facing Main. I worked with James, and am happy to recommend them to you. Their phone number is ###-###-####.

Hi Marie:

Whatever you do, please try NOT to go to Carpet Mills of America. We had over $7,000 worth of carpet and tile installed in our home a year and a half ago.

The tile they installed in my son's bathroom left an entire doorway full of sharp edge tile. The grout was crumbling. I called their main office, and called, and called. They scheduled someone to come out and fix it twice - both no-shows. When speaking to someone in charge, after trying to get this taken care of (before my son cuts his foot), I got in touch with the 'person in charge'. He was useless. When I told him what was going on, he said, "What is crumbling?" I actually asked him if he was serious. He was. I told him all that I had gone through with months of this not being fixed. He didn't give me much hope of getting it fixed. I then told him I would call the Better Business Bureau. He told me that if I did that, they would never fix the problem!!!

Then, when someone did come, they wanted me to go to the store and buy a metal trim piece! Another scheduled repair not completed.

Yes, they finally came, fixed the tile and re-grouted. After 6 months.

Beware, though. Sometimes they have store fronts under different names, so check to be sure it's not them.

Good Luck!

Peek's carpet is who I would recommend. Make sure you get a good installer and they use power-stretching tools and not just a knee kicker! It is VERY important to get a good install otherwise you will have problems with your carpet very quickly. Lots of companies don't look too hard at their installers and I know Peek's does.
