I'll apologize from the get go here but .....$199 to install in an entire house????
If I was quoted that on 1 floor alone which has mostly hard woods and tile.. I'd run from that deal. If it sounds to good to be true.... It usually is. Also, never forget that you get what you pay for.
This is a hard an expensive lesson. Hopefully by talkng to HD management, you can come to a good conclusion.
I've had 2 neighbors use HD to install ovens at a " deal" and are very sorry.
It pays in the long run to deal with reputable companies, even if you pay more up front.
Prime example.. We just had a new cooktop installed (Rodenbough's). The company had to cut a little more space from my Corian counters. I would NEVER allow that to be done by someone who does not have years of experience.
Keep flooding HD in paperwork and copies of ALL your correspondence EACH time you contact them. It might take a while but if you never let up, a lot of companies give in and correct the problem .
Good luck.
