I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Armando San Juan who is in Elmhurst on York Road. He is so kind, caring and very, very trustworthy. I drive almost 40 minutes to go to him because I would never go to another doctor. He delivered my first baby three years ago and I had such confidence in him. I had two miscarriages last year and he was incredibly compassionate and caring helping me to get through the heartbreak of it. He called me from his home at night just to check on me and make sure I didn't want to talk or need anything. He held my hand in the hospital and even gave me a hug when I needed it. He's wonderful! If you want more information, please feel free to email me and I will be happy to tell you more. Congratulations on your pregnancy and much luck and many blessings to you! Enjoy every minute of it! It's an awesome experience!

I use a group of OB/Gyns at 1200 South York Road on Roosevelt & York - Elmhurst Clinic. Dr. Ghia is my primary and the others are Dr. Page, Dr. Kim, all female and 2 other male doctors who are awesome. They are all associated with Elmhurst Hospital which the new Hospital is being build now next door. Minutes from Westchester. Very happy there.

I'm currently seeing West Suburban Obstetrics and Gynocologists in Lombard just north of Yorktown Mall. There's five doctors (I think) in the practice and they're all highly recommended. A couple of my friends are nurses there. I saw Dr. Jenks at Good Samaritan Hospital's physician center for my kids, who are now teens. I think he's still there. He's very good.
good luck!!

I highly recommend any OB with Loyola, plus living in Westchester, Loyola is going to be your closest hospital. You can search for a doctor on their website www.luhs.org or you can call (888) LUHS-888 to make an appointment with an OB at the office closest to you. They have offices in Oak Brook Terrace, North Riverside, Maywood (on Mannheim Rd, just east of 25th), and at the outpatient center on 1st avenue.

Good luck with your pregnancy. You would be in excellent hands at Loyola - I had both of my girls there and had an excellent experience. Please feel free to contact me if you have any more questions.

I use and absolutely love my Doc. Think the practice is called Womens OB/GYN and Associates. There are 4 docs and 3(?) nurse midwifes. Been w/ them for 6 yrs, but w/ this doc for 10+ yrs. She is so good I followed her to her own practice. The doc I love (and delivered my first) is Dr. Murrey. Phone is 630-654-BABY.

Good luck!

I suggest you do some soul searching and research about pregnancy and labor/delivery before you make a Dr. choice. Decide how you want the pregnancy to go. I knew nothing when I found myself pregnant the first time, and was happy with any nice, caring doctor. However, when I started thinking more about what I wanted, I found that the doctor was not a good match for me at all. I wanted a natural, drug and intervention-free birth, and my Dr. was not comfortable with that. However, I found that out too late. So, I don't have a Dr. recommendation for you because I don't know what your expectations are. Please do some reading and decide what is best for yourself, and then find a doc or midwife who matches.
Best of luck, you're in for the best ride of your life!
