I have a 16 year old son and I have found the best way to keep up with a lot of this stuff is to get in there with him. I have a myspace account and I am 41. I check on his account occasionally and keep up with the bulletins and blogs. If there is something I don't understand I simply ask him. Parents can delete myspace accounts, and it seems like the best thing to do.

There isn't a site for "translating" that i know of. Every group of kids sort of adopts their own slangs. If he could find someone who is younger who would be willing to help him he would be the best bet. I myself have a myspace page and I am 23...yah yah i know...i keep in touch with old high school friends this way. i may be able to help just let me know.
