P.P.
Goop will do it. It's a petroleum based hand cleaner and it will not leave a greasy stain. I've used it for years.
My daughter got a pair of pants from walmart and they had a sticker for a pricetag that was about 3in long. I took the sticker off and it left a whole line of sticky stuff. I have no idea how to get the sticky stuff off. Any ideas?
I haven't washed it yet because I didn't think it would come off like that. I thought Goo Gone would put an oil stain on it so I didn't use that. I think I'll read the Goo Gone bottle and use that. Thanks for the help!!

Goo gone.....it is safe on clothes too.
This is going to sound weird, but I found the perfect laundry helper...it is called Awesome and you get it where you would least expect to. The Dollar Tree. A friend of mine started me on it right after I had my daughter and she is now 22 months. It gets out poop, blood, and just about any other stain my daughter can do. Just add it to your normal laundry routine. Try it and I will bet you will love it. 99 percent of my daughters clothes are reusable and stain free for another child.
ps...It is actually a degreaser. It is now so easy to clean off the stove top. I just spray, let sit a few minutes and wipe off. No elbow grease needed.
Good luck.
In a perfect world I wash all the clothes before wearing, especially now with the fact that bed bugs are coming over from China in our clothes..But there have been many times that did not happen the sticky tag residue attracted an awful lot of stuff. It all came out in the normal wash cycle.
Goo Gone, a great product. It works on clothes picture frames, anything. Wash a sticker on your childs shirt and have nothing but the residue left? Goo Gone will disolve it. You might think that the somewhat oily prouct will stain clothes, but it doesn't, now just to make sure I always was the spot with laundry soap or dishwashing soap once I've gotten the "goo" off.
Good Luck

I'm sure it will just wash off. Have you washed it yet?
I would try rubbing it with ice to harden it up then roll it off with your hands, kind of like you would with gum in a child's hair.
Just wash it as usual.
Wash them. If it doesn't come off, return them.
Try a hot wash cloth and sort of scrub it off lightly.
I say return it and get a different pair!!
