Spray & Wash aerosol is Fabulous!! Just spray it on, and the goo rubs off as if it was not attached. Then wash as usual. It works like magic.
I recently washed a shirt that had a sticker still on it. Any tips on getting the left over sticker residue off the shirt? Thanks so much for any help you can give!

Goo Gone. just had this happen. Take a rag with some goo gone on it and rub - it will come right off.
BTW this works great on grease stains and sap on clothing as well.
Hi Jessica Try putting adhesive remover or nail polish remover on it. Put on a small amount to make sure it doesn't damage the clothing.
sometimes.....placing the item in the freezer helps, then gently scraping the balance of the adhesive off... If your fabric is "color safe" you might be able to use a solvent like "goo gone"....but test it first to see if the "goo gone" discolors your item
Try soaking it in Oxy-Clean and water. Let it soak for quite a while and then a little elbow grease or just run it though another wash.
Try Goo Gone. Works great!
Try Goo be Bone. I had the same issue and it worked for me. You can buy it almost anywhere but try Target. You will probably have to put some Tide or Era on the area after you use the Goo be Gone because it will leave an oily stain. Tide and Era work great to remove oil stains. Both worked for me. There is also an adhesive remover sold at scrapbooking stores like Michaels that would probably work but I've never had to try it. Good Luck!
Goof Off!
Honestly, this works. I washed my daughter's bikini with the hygenic liner attached, and it was a sticky mess in a really bad place ;)
The Goof Off worked like a charm. Just use a lot of paper towels. You'll also have to wash it a couple times to get rid of the smell.
Good luck!
Jessica, I'd try tape. Packing tape always worked for me, unless of course, you also dried the shirt.
I tried the piping hot vinegar trick on gum before and it worked great! I used it on a very colorful dress of my daughter's and it didn't take out any of the color. Just heat up some vinegar (the hotter, the better) and use an old toothbrush to scrape the adhesive off. Launder as usual to get the vinegar smell out & you should be all set! Good luck!
Hi Jessica,
Lighter fluid works great for this. It dessovles the residue. I had crayons go through the wash & stain some of MY clothes. I took lighter fluid to the wax & that cut it, but didn't remove the color, for that I used a plain bar of Ivory Soap and scrubbed. It worked, was a lot of work but worth it as most of my clothes were in that load, of course lol.
If lighter fluid doesn't work, I've used goo-gone on plenty of things, but wonder if the oil will stain it, which is why I mentioned the lighter fluid first.
Good luck.

Goo Gone, available for a couple dollars at Target, Walmart, etc.
I have had luck getting the residue off using rubbing alcohol and really hot water. I think I heard that vinegar does well also. Of course it depends on the material. My son had a Batman shirt made of nylon and he put a sticker from the doctor on it. I could not get that stuff off at all. I have had the best luck with sweaters and cotton/jersey material.
WD40. WD40 is a spray used for many household problems. It will get the sticky stuff off of your clothes. Make sure that you hand wash the item before you put it in the washer again. You never want to put WD40 or any kind of oil in your in your washing machine.
Good Luck
I have done this more than once and works great. Take peanut butter (not chunky) and smear it on the residue. Let it sit a few mintues and wash the shirt as normal.
Goo Gone works great.
