We recently changed insurance carriers due to my husbands job and sadly can't go to our old pediatrician who we LOVED (Dr. Kimberly Klein- Kaiser Walnut Creek)! I'm wondering if anyone has any recommentions for a great female pediatrician in the Walnut Creek/Lafayette/Moraga area? My baby girl's due for her 12 month shots and I keep putting it off hoping to find a new doctor first. Any help/ advice would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks! :)

We went to her when she was in Oakland and were very sad that she moved to Walnut Creek. She is very nice and takes a lot of time with you to answer any questions.
Our daughter goes to Bayside Medical off Ygnacio Valley Blvd adjacent to the hospital. The staff there is wonderful (always greets Kate when she comes in) and the doctors are very caring and knowledgeable. Deborah Weiss is the BEST..... but all have helped us out.

I take my 11 m/o to Dr. Kathleen Smith with the John Muir Medical Group. They're located at 2121 Ygnacio Valley Road in Walnut Creek, right down the street from the hospital. She, her staff, and the other doctors in the practice, are wonderful! Very caring and attentive, they always get back to me right away when I call with a question or concern. We love Dr. Smith!
Dr. Benway has been our daughter's pediatrician since dd was born 8 years ago and we think she's great. She has moved from Concord to Walnut Creek and the new office is great:
Check Lamorinda Pediatrics in Lafayette. Patricia Francis is great and I know they have a new female doc there. A great group too!
I would highly recommend Dr. Sarah Handelsman out of East Bay Pediatrics. Offices in Berkeley and Orinda. She is great as is every other doctor in that practice. My kids adore Sarah and actually love going to the doctor.
I can't remember the doctor's name, but Lamorinda Pediatrics in Lafayette is great. They have a few doctors there and they are all great. There is a woman doctor there, who was super nice, but like I said, I can't remember her name. We've been very happy with Dr. Sarah Handelsman at East Bay Pediatrics in Orinda http://www.eastbaypediatrics.com , who has been the pediatrician for my almost-8YO twin daughters since they were born. They've also seen Dr. Christina Vo, Dr. Tracy Evans-Ramsey and Dr. Juliana Damon for sick visits over the past 7+ years and we've had a positive impression of all of them.
