Shutterfly is simple and inexpensive. You just upload your photos, pick your options and the book is laid out and created for you. Easy-peasy :-)
Another vote for shutterfly! You may be surprised that you enjoy doing this yourself, and really, it can practically do it for you. You upload all the pictures you want in it, and it will actually default arrange them into a book if you pick a theme. You won't be able to resist rearranging them though, as his mom, your the only one who knows what order makes the most sense.
