Anyone know of a good free online digital scrapbook site? I am looking into possibly doing digital scrapbooking vs the handmade ones I've been doing and was wondering if there was such a site. If not do you know a good program or website that isn't super expensive.

My sister makes tons of books online and gets really creative. If you have any photo editing software you can make each page individually and then save as a jpg image, and then upload for a full page. (that way you're not limited to their layouts and styles. :) )
Personally I love Photoshop for digital scrapbooking. I am just starting out but I really like it. The make a software program, Photoshop Elements, that is really affordable (it has been on sale everywhere in the last couple of months). There are so many online tutorials for this program and it is really great. I then get my prints done at Costco if I want copies to bind, they print 8x8 pages and 12x12 pages!
Do you mean making them on line and then ordering them? I know you can do some digital things that are just like websites that stay on the computer but I don't know much about them. I do know however about the former...I made the switch a few years ago to doing digital books b/c honestly, it is SO much easier and faster. The homemade ones still do look cuter, but you're going to love these too!
I like Shutterfly and Snapfish. Shutterfly is easier to use if you're doing a big book b/c they have a storyboard option that makes things way fast and easy. But, I think Snapfish has better page backgrounds and layout options. On Snapfish you can make the pictures take up the whole page without a lot of negative space by using the "magic layouts" and I like that a lot. Also, they both often do deals and specials so once you join you'll start getting coupon codes.
I just copied and pasted this from my sister's blog. I saw her using the 3rd one and it had tons of options. She does this stuff a lot so, for her, paying for it is worth it.

I have used a couple different programs to do digital scrapbooks, including Shutterfly one time because they had a sale. But honestly, the best book & the one that I was most impressed with the final product, was thru Creative Memories. My shutterfly one has been looked at many times, and it looks like it could fall apart. I own the Creative Memories software that you have to buy, BUT they have a FREE version that can be downloaded from their website (called Storybook Creator). AND they have FREE templates that you can choose from. There are more templates that you could buy, but again, I know, free is best. :-) So you can create it for free, then upload it to the Creative Memories digital center. You can make softcover or hardcover books, whatever fits your budget. And they do have sales sometimes as well.
