You didn't say name or gender of the first child. Cole for a boy if that's not already what she has.
Caitlin is a pretty girl's name.
My SIL is pregnant. Not sure if it's a boy or a girl yet. Her first child has a hard C name. Her last name starts with a hard C. She's come up with Carter, Corey, and Cameron so far as possible names for her new kiddo. I came up with Kurtis and Cooper. What do you lovely ladies have for me/her?
Thanks in advance!
HA - Katniss. That cracks me up. I'm sure in the years to come we'll have a Katniss born in the USA. I do like Gale though (for me one day maybe).

Caitlin is a pretty girl's name.
My boys are named Cole and Cade. If they were a girl, she would have been named Cate.
Good luck!

For a boy -- Caden. Pronounced "KAY-den." It's my friend's son's name. He's the only Caden I know though I have seen the name a little since he came along.
It's both somewhat unusual still and also traditional (it's not a new made-up name). It is spelled just like it sounds so there won't be problems with always explaining how to spell and pronounce it.
And it sounds as good for a little boy as it does for a teen or an adult. It's not overused yet, either.
I would be sure to use the spelling with a C instead of a K -- Kaden looks all wrong to me and will indeed mean lots of spelling for years to come. But Caden is the traditional spelling. I feel the same about Kurtis-- why not Curtis? Save kids the burden of always having to explain and spell their unusually spelled names.
